The base pay range for this role is $93 150 to $132 750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

HP is seeking an experienced integration developer to join our team to develop and deploy integration software for a cloud-based service on our lifecycle services team! As a cloud services integration engineer, you'll join a high energy development team creating new and innovative solutions that are disrupting the way HP delivers our services. The person in this role will work on problems of diverse complexity and scope. The successfull candidate will have excellent commniucation skills and have many years in IT and software development with large enterprise integrations.

Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex issues. You need to be team-oriented, be innovative, possess a strong work ethic with a hands-on and can-do attitude, be a self-starter, be quality-conscious, and have excellent communication and technical skills.

The successful candidate will apply cloud services SW development and deployment knowledge to solve common and complex problems within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Must possess the ability to build it if it doesn't exist or with limited resources and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support technical integrations of our solutions with larger customer environments.

  • Write user stories for ITSM workflows.

  • Define integration requirements, workflows, and work with development team on development as well as support all aspects of an integration project.

  • Collaborates with product management team on business requirements and translates to technical user stories.

  • Working closely and sometimes on site with customers.

  • Presenting to customers and following standard practices when selling into customers.

  • Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.

  • Works on a project team of other software applications engineers that are internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystem.

  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

  • Represents the software applications engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

  • Design and develop high quality, well-architected, and high performing secure software solutions.

  • Follow a Test Driven Development (TDD) model to ensure quality.

  • Design, develop and deliver cloud-based services interfacing with multiple platforms and organizations across HP.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • Typically 10-15 years' experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with ITSM and large enterprise integrations

  • Experience with Python, Git, MySQL Database, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Postman, Databricks, JavaScript, and Java.

  • Secure software and risk mitigation experience

  • Experience with full software development life cycle

  • Strong object oriented and analysis skills

  • Secure software and risk mitigation experience

  • Experience with big data and analytics

  • Experience with security, compliance and privacy

  • Experience with encryption technology

  • Experience in requirements, analysis, definition and implementation of software solutions*

  • Proven record of creating automated testing services.

  • Experience developing tools to automate testing Web Services API's.

  • Experience and application of software quality tools and methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels...

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Designing software applications running on multiple platform types.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum based development team.

  • Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

  • Development of Hybrid cloud-based solutions.

  • Background with Microsoft Windows Azure securities, architectures, and design technologies.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 enterprise architecture, identity and services

  • Ideally have some or all of the following certificates (ITILv4, MD100, MD101, MS100, MS101, AZ303, MS500, MS900, AZ900)

Experience with the following is an asset:

  • Knowledge or experience with Service Now
